1.1 The Committee is been presided by a member of the Administrative Committee and five other members of the Municipal Council participate in it.
1.2 The Committee's purview extents to general working and clerical issues. The Committee does not address issues of workers' employment, under the Article 56 of the Municipalities' Law 111/85.
1.3 The Committee generally moves into propositions to:

The Mayor, concerning the subjects they have jurisdiction over, |

The Municipal Council, concerning the subjects it has jurisdiction over, |

The Municipal Council, concerning the subjects the Municipal Council has jurisdiction over according to the stipulations of the Municipalities' Law 111/85 and the relevant regulations. |
1.4 Specifically, the Committee deals with:

With the compilation of service plans, in understanding and co-operation with the employees' union. |
| 1.4.2 |
Acts as a sub-committee for selecting the most suitable candidate employees and makes pertinent recommendations to the Council. |

Examines all cases of employees' promotion. |
| 1.4.4 |
Addresses complains of the staff (workers and employees), on requests of the concerned parties that will be submitted through the Municipal Secretary to the Mayor. |

Submits suggestions to the Council concerning the general terms and working conditions. |
| 1.4.6 |
Makes suggestions as to the negotiations with the unions, the labour agreements and other requests. |
| 1.4.7 |
With disciplinary issues that are referred to it by the Municipal Council. |
