Latsia Municipal Library operates as a lending library since November 1996. It is housed in the same place with the rest of the Municipality's offices, 57 John Kranidioti Avenue, 1st floor, Latsia, Tel: 22480440.

The operating hours of the Municipal Library are the following:

During July and August, the operating hours every Tuesday are 10:30 a.m. - 02:45 p.m.

In order for one to become a member, they must fill in a special application form, which can be found in the Library. For applicants under 18 years old, one of their parents must countersign the application.

The Library has until today about 10.000 books, covering all the citizens' interests. The books are classified according to the Melvil Dewey international classification system. Namely, they are classified into ten major categories, according to their subject. There is also a book section from the twinned Kilkis Municipality. The Library also has educational videos and CDs.

Each member may borrow up to three books, for 15 days with renewal rights for 15 more days. Dictionaries and encyclopaedias are not borrowed.

Free photo-copies are also provided and there is a personal computer and printer for use by the members of the Library.
