| (1) For Cypriots: |
| a) |
If the person was married, a divorce by a civil court is necessarily required, and it must be signed to be definite. |
| b) |
Sworn statement in court. |
| c) |
Passport size photograph. |
| d) |
Identity card or passport. |
| (2) For Foreigners: |
| a) |
Certificate from their country verifying that they are unmarried / divorced / widow (er) or from the consulate / embassy of their country in Cyprus, officially translated in the Greek or English language. |
| b) |
Sworn statement in court. |
| c) |
Passport size photograph. |
| d) |
Identity card or passport. |
(2) and (3) The cost and time for performing a marriage are:
a. With expedition: It costs £165,00 and the marriage can be performed earlier than 15 days from the date of submission of the application as it is required by the Legislation and
b. With notification: It costs £75,00 and this marriage is performed 15 days after the date of submission of the application.
